Well folded small extension cord. Ideally works as an extender with an existing IR emitter (Blumoo) which cannot send a signal directly to the components as it has no line of sight to the components. These components include a TiVo, a Yamaha receiver and a Sharp television. The IR emitter transmitters do not need to be placed directly on top of the device's IR receiver sensor, but a few centimeters away in line of sight. I use a flashlight to find the IR sensor on each component. This is usually a small round hole somewhere on the face of the component. I then use bluetac to hold the IR extender sensor on a flat surface in front of or at the bottom of the shelf above the component. Highly recommended.
