Worked well to extend the IR connection of an OREI

. This worked great with the OREI Wireless Transmitter Receiver Extender 1080P Kit with IR Remote which I bought to display audio and video from components too far away for a high quality display. The IR receiver cable that came with the unit was too short for me to properly position the wireless HDMI emitter and still be able to control system components. I tried using other cables to extend the original but none of them worked. The TNP IR emitter extension cable goes well with the OREI…

Pros
  • wireless HDMI transmitter. Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Vanish

Ideal for extending an IR emitter

Well folded small extension cord. Ideally works as an extender with an existing IR emitter (Blumoo) which cannot send a signal directly to the components as it has no line of sight to the components. These components include a TiVo, a Yamaha receiver and a Sharp television. The IR emitter transmitters do not need to be placed directly on top of the device's IR receiver sensor, but a few centimeters away in line of sight. I use a flashlight to find the IR sensor on each component. This is…

Suitable for insulating components

Works well with Logitech Harmony Elite. The Harmony Hub has a 2.5mm plug, so you will need a 3.5mm to 2.5mm plug adapter. This allows me to use separate harmonies in different rooms but with the devices in the same closet. Otherwise, Harmony Blasters will send IR signals all over the closet and may confuse the two systems. Especially if you have the same electronic models for every room. For example, if you send a command to one room, it can change something in both rooms. These mini emitters…

Pros
  • Easy assembly
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

I got this with a Monoprice 107121 2.5mm mono to 3.5mm mono male adapter for use with my Logitech controller Bought Harmony Smart. It plugs directly into the back port of a Logitech hub and works well with my Onkyo receiver, LG Blu Ray and Verizon Fios STB. After reading reviews of similar IR emitters, I found that this one emits IR radiation from the front, not the bottom. So, using the included little self-adhesive pads (would be great if they came with extra ones), I attached each emitter to

Good value if you can use it as is.

I have an old but very reliable Niles control unit with a connection point but I need 2 indicators. This item corresponds to the invoice. The length of the cord was more than enough for my needs, and I suspect for most needs. My only criticism is that the wires (conductors) were very, very thin. I had to cut off the end of the connector to connect the cable to my Niles. It turned out that I had to remove about 1 inch from each pin and then fold them several times (leads + and -) to ensure a…

Surprisingly just what I needed.

Very nicely done. The wire feels good (very flexible). The die-cast body at the mini-plug end is solid, with a decent anti-fatigue end on top. The device comes with 3 wires that power the interconnected emitters until they are very close to the emitter heads, but you simply separate them to split the wire where it works for your application. I'm pretty sure I have a non-standard use case. for that I will post the details in case anyone else searches for those keywords. For my application in my…
