I got this with a Monoprice 107121 2.5mm mono to 3.5mm mono male adapter for use with my Logitech controller Bought Harmony Smart. It plugs directly into the back port of a Logitech hub and works well with my Onkyo receiver, LG Blu Ray and Verizon Fios STB. After reading reviews of similar IR emitters, I found that this one emits IR radiation from the front, not the bottom. So, using the included little self-adhesive pads (would be great if they came with extra ones), I attached each emitter to the front of each device next to (not on top of) the IR sensor on each device. Works very well and solved my problem with distributing IR to multiple devices in my BDI audio cabinet. Make sure you buy the Monoprice adapter (or similar) listed above, otherwise the 3.5mm plug will not fit the Logitech hub.
