The maximum load current is 16 A, the maximum voltage is 230 V, and the maximum power is 3.68 kW. These specifications have been declared. The socket was wired to accommodate a tank-style water heater that had a maximum power output of 1.5 kW. As a direct consequence of this, the socket started to melt after only a week of regular use. One of these two things is either a marriage or an inconsistency with the facts that was declared. As a result, you should not connect any kind of heating appliance to it, even an electric kettle. What is the purpose of this socket? Should I turn on the TV, the lamp, or the phone charger? I do not see the benefit in doing so, and I do not encourage that others do so either.
