DO NOT BUY if trying to save memory in radio etc if battery is disconnected

Totally useless for advertised purpose to connect to OBDII port to save memory in radio etc when the battery is removed. This device has an OBDII socket. The OBDII connector on vehicles is also female. In other words, you CANNOT connect it to the vehicle's OBDII port. I suspect you can use it to power a device, like some cameras that use an OBDII connector for power. I don't know, I didn't need it for that. I returned it.
