Good Beginning
Not sure if a pro uses them but as a beginner I can confirm this set is very good. You get 3 different sized needles, leather finger guards (recommended if you are new to this!), cutting scissors (they are very, very sharp), straight pins, a large awl for making deeper holes and a tool. with many attached needles. This kit is a great starting point, really fun!
