Review on πŸ“· OLYMPUS OM-D E-M5 Mark II (Silver) (Body Only): Unleashing the Ultimate Photographic Power by Bhavin Patel ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The ratio of price and quality is very pleasing, I will repeat the purchase.

Before that, I shot on Sony cameras (even since Minolta). Sold the whole zoo of lenses and decided to try Olympus. Very happy with the purchase. I am pleased with the pattern of lenses, stylish look, the possibility of settings and built-in filters. For the last couple of years I have been shooting exclusively on the iPhone, but here I got a second wind and again happily took a great interest in photography.

Pros
  • It is really fast - it turns on in a second, there are no brakes in the menu. Compact lightweight optics, I wouldn’t say affordable for the price, but now it’s generally difficult with prices. Cool design, kind of retro, but looks modern. Lots of buttons and knobs that you can customize. Small, light - for this reason I chose mikra. A huge SLR is always at home, I forgot when I photographed something on it.
Cons
  • Price. The model is quite old, but it is sold as it was three years ago. Small and light - you can always carry it with you, but because of this it is inconvenient to hold in your hands. There's nothing you can do, consciously made a choice. Good zooms 8-25 or 12-40 look great for this carcass. Not for those who like to blur into a 0 cup.

Has pros: Compact and handy camera. Protection against dust and moisture. Charging via usb from an external battery. Microphone input. Lots of interesting settings and features. Some cons: Raw 12bit. When charging via usb, the camera is not active.
