I bought the Columbia Youth Boys Autumn Park down jacket for my son last winter and I'm generally happy with the purchase. The Mountain Red/Red Jasper color is bold and stylish and my son has received many compliments on it. The jacket offers enough warmth for a mild winter, but I wouldn't recommend it for colder climates or temperatures below 30 degrees. The down filling of the jacket keeps my son warm, but overall the jacket is a little tight. We ordered a large which I expected would fit my 11 year old son with some room to grow but it was narrower than I expected. The length of the jacket was reasonable but the sleeves were a bit short. One area where this jacket really excels is its durability. It works well in games, snowball fights and other outdoor activities. The waterproof material keeps my son dry in light rain or snow which is a big plus. The hood is also detachable, making it versatile for different weather conditions. Overall I would recommend the Columbia Boys down jacket for mild winters or as a stylish outdoor jacket. It's not the warmest option out there, but it's excellent value for money.
