These collars are well made and durable. I like the fact that the clasp is fixed on the collar and cannot open unexpectedly. We have Dobermans and our youngest who has a very strong prey instinct put on an old collar when he jumped on the leash and decided to try chasing the bird. He ran straight into the street and was hit by a minibus. After a year of surgeries, flat feet on three legs and a lot of time in the hospital, he's happily home wearing Max and Neo's collar! The extra tag ring is a bonus and so handy. Decisive for the purchase of these collars was the fact that every rescuer gets a collar. (Our 2 girls also have Max and Neo collars!) The biggest downside to both Max and Neo collars was trying to decide what pattern and color I wanted for Dobes!
