The shampoo works well and goes well with the balm from the same line

I received a sample in a subscription box and I decided I liked it enough to buy the full size to buy . I've been using it for a few days together with the balm from the same line and I'm very satisfied. For reference: I dyed hair to the waist, Caucasian texture. A little dry from frequent washing (I do a lot and it's summer and hot where I live) and from dying. It has a naturally wavy texture and tends to pick up a lot of frizz due to localized moisture. I mostly turn to conditioners, hair masks and other products to deal with frizz, and I turn to shampoos to keep my hair clean. To be honest, I think it actually helps *a little* with the fluffiness. But more importantly, it cleans my hair well. I have tried many shampoos lately and this one has a good consistency/viscosity. You can actually spread it all over your scalp (I usually only wash the roots, not the ends) and get a decent lather without much effort. But it also washes well. It has a similar scent to a conditioner from the same line (I can describe it as warm and possibly sandalwood and/or amber, but that's my guess). I like the scent so it works for me. Here are the ingredients, as they're hard to read on the product page (wrapped on the side of the product bottle in the second picture): Water/Water/Water, Sodium Lauroyl. methyl isethionate, disodium laureth sulfosuccinate, sodium lauroyl sarcosinate; Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate, Panthenol, Perfume/Fragrance, Benzyl Alcohol, Sodium Methyl-2-Sulfolaurate, Ppo-25-Butet-26, Acrylate-10-30-Alkyl, Acrylate Crosspolymer, Phenethyl, Benzoate, Cocoglucoside, Glyceryl Oleate, Sodium Benzoate, Peg- 40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Glycol Distearate, Trisodium Ethylenedamine Disuccinate, Polyouathernium-7, Disodium 2-Sulfolaaurate, Amodim Ticon, Sunflower Oil, Guarhydrocypropyltrimonium Chloride, C11-15 Parie Ph-7, Sodium Chloride, Glyceryl Stearate, Laureth-9, Trideoeth-12, Glycerin , Citronellol, Bixa Orellana Seed Extract, Geranol, Bexoc Acid. I switched to a more modern one. It contains silicones but no sulfates. The only thing I don't like is the bottle. I prefer shampoo containers with lids attached somehow. It's easy to drop and of course you don't want to knock the bottle over because a lot of product will spill out. However, the performance is so good that I will find a way to deal with the loose cover.

Pros
  • Not only useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • There are flaws
