The drive would otherwise be fine, but it's vibrating so badly that my entire case is shaking like a vibrating platform. It makes this horrible grinding noise that goes from the quietest to the loudest at regular 2-3 second intervals and can be heard in the hallway. If I plug in another 2TB 7200RPM Seagate 3.5" hard drive that I already own (the alternative hard drive is often roughed up and used to transfer large amounts of data between home and office), the entire computer is so quiet i have to put your ear to the case to hear something but with this disc installed you can hear it outside the room and down the hall. Oddly enough, it still seems to be storing data and passing disk checks, but I'm not sure it can do that for long if something inside is far from equilibrium. I contacted Revain support and they refunded my money and I am returning the disc.
