I am very happy with this scanner. It was easy to set up. The software is very easy to install on a Windows 7 laptop. The software is not intuitive, but after reading the manual you should be able to navigate it easily. It is powered by a USB cable, which is very convenient. Be sure to install the PC software BEFORE connecting the scanner to the PC. I got up and started scanning after about 10 minutes. I bought this scanner mainly to scan about 1000 photos. I think the scanner did a great job of scanning images. Outstanding resolution. Well, here's what sold me about this product. The scan tray is approximately 10 x 17. You can place multiple images on the scanning platform and if you leave some space between them, the scanner will recognize them as separate images! Can I scan 5-6 photos at once? I scan at 600 dpi and I can scan 5-6 photos in about a minute, from the moment I hit the scan button to the moment they are transferred to my computer. I've only scanned about 100 photos at the time of writing this review, but I highly recommend this scanner.
