Review on 🍷 Premium HiCoup Kitchenware Wine Openers - Corkscrew Bottle Openers with Foil Cutter Key for Waiters & Bartenders by Jeff Davidson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

What a little rescue. Fast and efficient!

I work at a wine bar here in California and the place is always full of people. I'm busy all the time and on the weekends we're making $30,000 a night just selling wine. My boss told me I needed to start buying my own wine keys (another name for a corkscrew), so I went online to Revain. I didn't know if it was worth the risk to choose this HiCoup corkscrew based on all the 5 star product reviews. How did this simple little tool get so many rave reviews? It seemed unreal to me. I didn't want to spend fifteen bucks on something I see so often at work, but I took a chance and bought it anyway. I am very satisfied and do not regret the purchase at all. The first day of use was impressive. The tool itself has an ideal weight. It feels like you are holding something of high quality and craftsmanship. With beautiful wood finishes and a comfortable grip, it looks great in a dynamic work environment. The double loop is fast and strong, the first edge is usually enough if I'm not too lazy. The serrated blade is the best! It cuts through even the thickest wine bottle necks and *works*. The "worm" is very steep, with a linear groove running along the corkscrew to the end. I don't know what this feature is for, but it takes care of my open bottles quickly and efficiently. I would recommend this tool to everyone! I wouldn't spend more than $35 on another competitor's corkscrew because it works so well. I plan on owning it for a long time and since the company offers a lifetime warranty on the product I don't think I'll ever need to replace it. Very happy with my purchase! *TIP* When I first received the product, the loop between the bottle opener and the handle was very tight and it was difficult and annoying to open the corkscrew. I smeared some olive oil on a folded paper towel and rubbed a little into the two loops, reducing the friction of the metal and eliminating my only problem. I would recommend doing the same if you are facing the same problem.
