I haven't embroidered in 30 years (not since high school) but I thought so , I could try again. It's relatively easy to do and unwind when watching TV, visiting friends, or just relaxing in the evenings after work. The stitches in this set are plain and simple - if you don't know them, you can easily find them on Youtube. The print on the material is clear and easily distinguishable. There is more than enough thread, as well as small scissors, two needles (in case you lose one), a needle threader and a hoop. I'm so glad I'm happy with it and will be buying more.
