Great for learning!

Everything you need to get started is ready. I had to look up YouTube on how to properly hold a stitch to start/finish it as the instructions only show each type of stitch. The outlines are very clear and easy to follow. Ideal for beginners

Pin by numbers - in the subject!

This is similar to painting by numbers, but uses needle and thread instead of paint and canvas. Love it! Good product with a fun design. The pattern is very small and a bit difficult to read, but there are many tutorials on YouTube for different stitches.

Not a cross, but a good embroidery set

While generally good, the fact that this set even mentions "cross stitch" is misleading. I tried cross stitch today and the fabric is NOT suitable for cross stitch. I'm looking forward to trying embroidery, but I regret I didn't get the cross stitch fabric after preparing and drawing.

Overall good product for beginners

I bought this for myself with no embroidery experience. Although there are some instructions and the thread is numbered to make the details easier, please note that a beginner may need another source (book, video) to fully understand the craft. The kit also includes the materials necessary to complete each of the three pieces shown (and more than enough thread), and the embroidery in each set appears to be of good quality. Overall a good set for beginners.

a hobby to come back to

I haven't embroidered in 30 years (not since high school) but I thought so , I could try again. It's relatively easy to do and unwind when watching TV, visiting friends, or just relaxing in the evenings after work. The stitches in this set are plain and simple - if you don't know them, you can easily find them on Youtube. The print on the material is clear and easily distinguishable. There is more than enough thread, as well as small scissors, two needles (in case you lose one), a needle…
