Wow! This lens is amazing! I'm not a professional photographer, I mainly shoot with the Sony A6000 as a hobby. I haven't bought a lens in 2 years and was looking for a zoom lens. I saw the G lens but felt the $999 price tag was too high and figured I'd settle for something cheaper. I love it! It's a little heavy, but it's a really great lens. Look at the photos I took of him. The only downside is that it takes a while to focus, which is annoying when I'm trying to photograph a moving bird.
