I can't say anything about durability and reliability yet. However, this light is very easy to install and is perfect for illuminating a room from above. I think it's a really cool idea to be able to change the color of the light yourself. Just commenting on this, if you have 10 lights in your house and want to change the color, maybe to something warmer, you have to go to the attic or somewhere else and flip the switch on each light. Maybe there is a better way to do this, not sure. All in all I will buy more.
