I used this to repair a display panel in my 99 Plymouth mini-van. The "check engine light" wasn't working and that made the car fail a required smog check. I was able to pull the circuit board with that light on it and found it had (when new) been attached with a black foam double-sided tape, but that this stuff had disintegrated in the last 20 years. The actual issue was a combination of damaged traces on the board, and a damaged board itself,This tape allowed me to reattach the board and then I was able to repair the traces and restore the function. I had tried using a variety of other adhesives but they didn't work. This stuff did!And the description said it could handle 140°F it seems just what was needed for an application that was subject to full sun under the large windshield glass.6
