Review on πŸ–ŒοΈ Prismacolor Premier Illustration Markers, Fine Tip, Black Set of 5 - Professional Drawing and Fine Art Supplies by Jennifer Roberts

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Smudge-proof and non-waterproof/waterproof

1. You smudge if you touch the ink immediately (no matter what paper you use, I've tried watercolor paper - cold and hot pressed, Bristol paper - smooth and vellum, marker paper, 100% cotton paper and canvas) when you leave it overnight there is only slight smearing. In any case, it smears.2. It is neither waterproof nor waterproof. I like to sketch my work and then use watercolors or other paints and the ink came up immediately and ruined my painting.3. Archival ink on my ass. I call cheating.4. It comes in a nice plastic case that's more durable than I thought it would be. and the handles look good. Instead I recommend Microns, they are cheap but more importantly they really do what they say. If you're just using them for hatching or tracing with crayons (alcohol markers even cause ink to bleed), then they'll do the job of black ink. Just be careful not to touch them right after you put them down, give them about 24 hours or more.

Pros
  • Ideal for fine detail and technical applications
Cons
  • Other interesting options are available.
