Review on Feedback Sports Sprint Work Stand by Robert Norris

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Fragile base ideal for cycling

Make contact with the yoke in the center of the bike rack. This creates a base with plenty of movement while you work on the bike. I was also disappointed that the arrow is perfectly horizontal. Thus, the bike will be tilted nose down when standing on the stand. When using a chain cleaner, you cannot straighten the device if it is clamped to the chain. In this case, all you can do is put a block under one foot to make the arrow flip up. In comparison, the Park Tool PRS 22.2 has an upward angled boom and a significantly stronger base. I would say that the Feedback Sports Sprint stand has no free play in the boom post connection while the Park Tool stand has a bit of a wobbly connection. Overall I prefer the Park Tool PRS 22.2 and think it's worth the extra cost.

Pros
  • Anodized 6061 T6 aluminum construction is ultra-light, corrosion resistant and incredibly strong
Cons
  • Large and bulky
