Was looking for a large pad for my new exercise bike. After looking at a few other "Name" rugs, I settled on the highly acclaimed Malamute rug. I'm very glad I did, the price is right, the quality is excellent and the extras (sweat strip, large absorbent towel and mat tote bag) that you get with it make it a bargain. I can't believe the difference the mat makes when it comes to drowning out the noise of a running shoe. There was a slight odor at first when the packaging was first removed, it disappeared after leaving the mat outside for a few hours. You can't go wrong with this purchase.
