I chose this product because its four folding arms and central LED dome seemed to promise the largest light-emitting area. And the price for four bulbs was lower than what many other sellers were asking for two or even one. The lamps were just as easy to install as the standard compact fluorescent or incandescent lamps they replaced. It was always dark in my garage, but having the trilight plugged into the ceiling outlet made things a lot better. I bent all four arms up slightly to project light in all directions, not just down. The laundry room in the basement depended on a single lightbulb in the ceiling socket, which was not good for judging the cleanliness of clothes or household chores like ironing. Things are much better now and the flexible connections of the four protruding panels have once again allowed me to direct the light where it works best. We have an attic that is accessed via a skylight and a folding ladder. The house was built in 1959 and there is only one lightbulb next to the opening. The fluorescent lamp didn't give much light. The trilight it replaced allows me to see most of the way to the other end of the attic. I gave my stepson the last trilight so he can appreciate his work. If these new 6000 lumen bulbs last as long as most LEDs, I think they will pay for themselves due to the massive increase in brightness.
