Cracked and warped within days

One of them looked as if a crack had been filled in with wood filler. All of them cracked and warped within a week of taking them out of the shrink wrap. They were just sitting on my dining room table, not exposed to any extreme temperature changes. Bark started popping off a few days later. Good thing I got them far enough in advance of my event that I have time to come up with an alternative.

These wood slices were very good. They were clean and smooth, very nice.

Cons

The natural wood may splinter or crack, causing potential injury hazards
