I have been using this mirror for a few months now and need to update my review. I am changing my rating from 5 stars to 1 star. The mirror is flat and therefore does not offer a large enough angle for cycling. It shows a very small narrow vision area that does not provide enough vision to be comfortable and safe. After many weeks of use, one side of the mounting screw came loose and the mirror detached. I eventually replaced it with a more convex mirror and the block is no longer used. This view width issue is serious and a deal breaker. I'm keeping my rating below, but the rating has been downgraded significantly. Initial Rating (5 Stars): This bike mirror assembly is made entirely of metal, which is rare. It doesn't have a very long neck but will fit most riders and cyclists. The adjustment range is wide, so you can find the position that suits you. The connections are rigid so they hold well once tightened. This is not the case with most bike mirrors on the market. However, two things. First, it's the mirror itself. High quality mirrors with excellent clarity, which is not typical of bike mirrors. However, the mirror is flat, so it doesn't look like the most typical convex bike mirror. Therefore, this mirror does not have a large viewing angle, but for the same reason it does not distort. The next problem is the handlebar mount. The clamp is strong and uses two small screws. No soft padding material is included, so you may need a strap, leather or rubber strip to soften the clamp on the handlebar to avoid scratching the handlebar and provide some fixation at the contact point. to facilitate good attachment. One of the two small terminal screws was loose in the box when it arrived. It could easily get lost. The packaging could be improved to ensure all parts are in the package upon arrival. To update. There are no installation instructions. I had to completely reverse some of the adjustments and go back to the list to see the different images to find out that the settings would give me enough range of motion to get a working position. On the mirror itself, you can tighten the screw just behind it so the mirror can still be rotated, but tight enough that vibration from driving doesn't throw the mirror out of alignment. This may be the best way to tighten the mirror to make it look like your car mirror, moveable but stable. The main disadvantage is the narrow reflection area, since the mirror is not convex.
