I bought my first Smith diamond sharpener about 20 years ago. I literally took off the diamonds. Great tool, I've always liked it. Needless to say, I was thrilled to see the exact same SharpWBWR for sale. When I received it I was disappointed that it was made cheaper. The stone does not fit exactly on the handle. When inserted, it wobbles and falls out easily. When I put the rock in my old grip it turned out to be a little tighter so I use it and threw away the new grip. I have enjoyed this stone for many years and the diamonds have remained the same. I just wish Smith wouldn't sacrifice overall quality. I'll probably look for the best I can wear.
