I use it for outdoor and indoor product videos. For the money it's great for light items if there's access to connecting to a power source. All too heavy and it won't move, especially if it has batteries in it. The cord is short, be prepared for the need for an extension cord. If you want it to be portable, don't expect too much. Batteries don't last long, "maybe" 30-45 minutes before new ones are needed. Pros: It has 3 different rotation options (left, right or 1/2 turn back and forth). It's easy to turn on and off - just press and hold any button for 3 seconds. It is suitable for light, fast work.
