Review on Potter Slytherin Shield Tapestry Blanket by Diane Beachem

My family has sewn blankets this way all my life, that's how I know them. I would say that this product is on a lower quality level. Much like sheets run by thread count, this product has a lower thread count. I have seen higher quality quilts that have a higher thread/stitch count. With the smaller distance between the threads, the strings are more easily stretched and worn. This is not designed for heavy use and wears out easily with heavy use. However, it makes a great decorative throw or if you want to hang it as a tapestry. It's just that the less you use the better as I can see how it can fray or the strings catch slightly causing it to fray easily. I bought one before buying one for my sister as a Christmas present. I will look elsewhere for my sister's Christmas present.
