I needed something to transport my bike for weekend trips. I have a 2014 F150 with a hard case that I can't fit my bike (which has a very large frame) in without blocking the view of the rear window and removing the front wheel. The hitch mounted struts tend to block the rear camera, so this was unacceptable. This tailgate pad is perfect as I only transport my bike. The only thing missing is that it didn't come with a strap to secure the front wheel to keep it from wobbling. Hooking the hooks on the underside of the tailgate was a bit difficult at first because of my thumbs, except the thing wobbles. My weekend getaways are much more enjoyable without the frustration of transporting my trip.
