Loose connector causes disconnection
I bought a 14 foot black cable that came with loose connectors that could disconnect at the slightest movement of the cable. Being in a dilemma, I slid the black protective latch button under the latch's clear plastic tab so that it pushes enough to hold the connector securely, which seems to be stopping the disconnects for now. I didn't have the same problem. The reviewers mentioned that the cable is only rated for 250MHz while mine is 550MHz. I didn't measure the cable, but to the eye it looks like the right length.
