I bought a 14 foot black cable that came with loose connectors that could disconnect at the slightest movement of the cable. I have never bought a cable from Monoprice that I was unhappy with and have bought quite a few cables from them over the years. I recommend Cat6 for home use as Cat6a is only useful for very long cables which are not needed in most homes. All my cables are 50 feet or less. Cat6a is recommended for lengths over 100-150 feet.
