My overheating problem has been solved. The cloth is of great importance. I swapped out two identical fans with no shrouds and now I can feel air moving through my entire heatsink. The old fans would turn on and never turn off (causing the car to overheat) while these would turn off after a few minutes and kept my car at the right temperature. Easy to install with included brackets and screws. You sound like a wind tunnel.
