Review on π Powerful KICKER CompR 8" Subwoofer: DVC, 2-ohm, RoHS Compliant! by David Baer
The reason for this is bad vibration.
Bandwidth and volume sounded really good, much better than what I replaced with this Edifer db250 system. But something inside the cone causes a bad vibration that can be heard in music at any volume. I took some memory foam and covered the speaker to try and deaden the vibrating noise, it looks ridiculous and that's why I'll probably be returning it and looking for something else, which is unfortunate because I don't have the Love the sound of this kicker speaker he installed how can I tell there is nothing loose in the cabinet, anyone else have strong vibrations coming from the front of this subwoofer?
