I have used several types of lamps for my dog. The one on the label - it scratches the neck so badly that it breaks the light or it falls off the collar. Other collars - I had one with a design, it ruined the design in a week. At night he would scratch his neck and the lights would come on and blink occasionally as if the EMTS were outside of our home. This particular Nite Ize Nite Dawg LED collar is a replacement for the collar I currently have on my dog. Which I originally bought from Bass Pro 2 years ago. It only fits standard collars, not wide martingale collars. However, it is durable. It holds up well even if it peels off. He doesn't turn it on by scratching it very often. This is the best collar I have found for dogs that scratch their necks frequently.
