Unlike most reviewers, I ride my motorcycle every day. This is my ONLY mode of transportation, which means I ride sun, rain, hail, sleet and sometimes snow. (I live in North Texas so it's not too bad, but the weather might surprise you.) So finding a good quality pair of gloves was important to me. I've had many gloves with different uses, but I've never bought them online until now. What I like about these gloves is that they effectively block the wind. The wind in particular will make you feel like you're out of your fingers - from short rides to long rides (15 miles and more). In addition, gloves provide reasonable dexterity. I usually have to take my gloves off to fish something (keys, chewing gum, mobile phone, etc.) out of my pocket at a rest stop or other break in business. Not to mention the baby (don't judge too harshly) had a hard time using the clutch and brake levers. But these gloves don't make me feel like I have two carving knives instead of hands. This is a big plus. The leather is of good quality, almost perfectly matched to my jacket. The inner lining is soft and keeps your hands warm. The velcro on the wrist is more or less useful - I don't need it, but I can see how someone else could use it for extra security, to make sure it stays on your hands (maybe?). So yes, good bang for your buck on all but two counts. Point one: gloves. The flare is too wide and there is no lining so the material has no weight. As I cruise down the interstate at 75-85 mph, the wind whips these flimsy mittens so lightly that they inexplicably flip over (i.e., fold over my arms). It's actually pretty fun, but frustrating when you're trying to keep that 50-degree cold wind from creeping up your sleeves. However, a little concern as long as I can feel my fingers. Maybe just tuck it up your sleeves? I just deal with it. Rschunimagu. Point two: glove sizes. Attention, these gloves run small. SMALL. I read a lot of reviews before ordering so I didn't have to return them, only because I had the foresight to order two sizes larger than I normally wear. (I have long, thin fingers. Only my hands are maybe a little above average.) I usually wear oversized gloves with most gloves. I ordered them in XXL and they fit perfectly. So if you order them, keep that in mind. All in all a good pair of gloves. Especially considering the price. 4 out of 5 stars due to weird glove and questionable sizing. Arrived in two days, which made me happy. Well done Milwaukee motorcycle clothing! (It would be great if you included a glove size chart in the description.) Good buy!
