Review on TWAYRDIO Foldable Tactical Connector 15 3 Inch by Mike Marks

When deployed (upright) the antenna works great with similar performance to the Diamond RH-77. The SWR is excellent with <1.7:1 in the frequency range 144-148 MHz and 430-450 MHz. The antenna can also be used in the GMRS band, but the SWR increases to around 2.5:1. I've tried folding the antenna and it doesn't resonate on either band, but less than 2:1 on the 220MHz band. So you can actually use this as a tri-band antenna if you fold it into three parts (as in the product photo) at 220MHz. The SWR was tested on the Comet CAA-500 and actual performance verified on my dual band Yaesu VX-8.
