Review on Enhanced LG Electronics 4681ED3001D Dishwasher Diverter Motor with Superior Spray Arms by George Mack

Ordered to replace an original switch which failed after just over 4 years of use. The first part they sent me was clearly an old, used part with an old date sticker; It had visible rust so I don't know how the seller could have thought it was new! Instead of going through Revain I called the parts supplier direct and they sent me a replacement free of charge - took about 1 week to ship. It was easy to install and was a cheap fix to get the dishwasher working again, but after only 8 months it broke again! When I looked down at the part, everything was covered in rust again. I have never seen an error like this on any of the GE and Whirlpool dishwashers I have had in the past. This LG dishwasher was only 5 years old and it wasn't a cheap model and I had to replace the motor assembly twice in the first 2 years because of an inexplicable squeaking noise and when that squeaking noise came back I decided it was time to replace the entire dishwasher - on anything other than LG.
