The taps and extension did a great job tapping the larger mortise hole. Apply lubricant to the faucets to catch any metal shavings. The inserter and insert began to warp about halfway through installation, but I was able to use a spark plug to successfully insert the insert fully into the head. The engine now runs great and saved me the head change. I bought this kit because it is thinner and works better with both small motors and larger motors than cheaper and bulkier thread replacement kits. The product worked fine.
