This item is overpriced. The manufacturer has to spend a lot of money to print their name on the heavy base plate steel and a few times on the lighter beam steel. Maybe they could spend on design instead. This pad is definitely suitable for models with wider tires. But for this off-road bike model, they simply reduced the width without adding any reinforcement. So you get a flexible and flexible installation. If I were to use it I would have to make some spacers as it will not fit on my Yamaha's front tire. The only spacers they make are not only overpriced, but they are so thick that they can be reduced to the width of a mountain bike. The seller I dealt with at Revain also does not accept returns. For example I would have to pay to send it back (completely understandable) but then they would charge me a 50% restocking fee since it was installed. So it would cost me $30 to send it back and then they would only refund me $55 or so. I didn't because I was sure they would resell it and actually make more money off this nonsense. How the hell am I supposed to say this thing is a complete mess until the bike is in the trailer? If that's the style you want, I'd buy one of the $40 Revain versions. This pricier version apparently only adds flash storage - it's still not very good overall.
