SMOOTHIE TO DELIVERY WITHOUT USE OF MY VERY TALL MIXING GLASS

OK. When I first started using this I was frustrated by a few things. First, it was damn loud! (It still is) but now I either close my ears or step aside while it mixes. This is much louder than using a regular blender jar. Then I was confused how hard it is to open the lid when you slam it shut. It's still tough, but I'm used to it, and if I don't have to slam it, I don't. Also, it took me twice as long to mix as before, but after reading the instructions on how to layer the ingredients, it became a lot easier for me to mix things up, although it still takes a little longer than in a regular mixing container. It does not matter. I've never had a problem with things leaking; You just have to make sure you have installed the adapter correctly. It's heavy and a bit bulky and I could see people having trouble fitting it properly. It's difficult to get the yogurt out of the underside of the adapter where it settles onto the threads that screw into it, so I keep a thin bottle brush for this purpose, but a toothbrush or other item that can be cleaned will do also from . and also. Of course, with the power of Vitamix, you never have to worry about not getting super smooth results. I've also used it for dry ingredients and they work really well too. In general, this is still better than scooping the contents of a tall glass into another container when trying to head out the door in the morning; Just give yourself a few tries to get used to it (I practiced with water a few times when I first set it up).
