So full disclosure I use this for the artwork that is in my head Octobot it's an octopus that is a robot don't judge I feel me like you. judge again! I'll post a photo when I'm done so you can agree it's not as crazy as it sounds. Regardless, I needed something that could handle a lot of weight, stayed very balanced, was very flexible because I wanted the 3 "legs" of the tripod to be three octopus tentacles. I connected my phone to the device so I could at least give a slightly relevant review, but I'd say the Octobot review was just a more rigorous test than just using my phone. I've gotten him to the flexibility, strength and weight he can happily handle. Yes, I did an extreme test, please; p So yeah, pretty legit stuff actually! I'm happy! Highly recommended for robots or cameras
