I really, really want this mount. It feels premium, is extremely versatile and looks good. It's a bit more than I expected, but it doesn't matter. Unfortunately, and the reason for 2 stars instead of 5, is that the phone holder mount had a cross thread. I had to use pliers to take it off and it damaged the pivot mechanism. I've attached an image to show what I mean.

Use it with GoPro cameras, cheap camcorders, iPhones, sometimes with our A6000 camera to place it on tree branches when you do river shots make from the best spots on the shore. Also suitable for smartphones. Useful in a variety of situations. The head is unscrewed and, if necessary, attached to other tripods. I love this concept and will upgrade to a more robust version as soon as possible, but as long as it remains viable it's a keeper.

The product is excellent. However, the mount was glued to the 1/4" thread coming from the swivel. This must be a mistake. There's no reason to glue this thread. And the instructions show it's disconnected. I ended up using pliers, to loosen the thread. It took a lot of effort and I scratched the red paint quite badly. I had to disassemble it, sand it down and paint it black. A lot of extra work! Please tell the people at the factory NOT to glue the threads !

I was very excited when I opened this tripod, it had everything I was looking for and more and was great value. They must have used cheap parts or something because the locking button didn't work so I couldn't stabilize my head. It would turn around when I got up. I heard a click inside the ball joint when I shook it slightly, so something inside must have broken. Too bad, that would be great. but i think you get what you pay for. I think I'll look around for something more expensive.

This tripod seems very good for its price and size. The ball mount is very slick and the flip mount is very versatile with the ability to convert it into a phone mount that even fits my fairly large Samsung Galaxy S21+ with case. The pieces feel pretty solid, the legs are flexible and easy to manipulate, and the rubber feet on the bottom prevent slipping. Excellent tripod. I use it to record videos from my phone while soldering. My phone can be held completely upside down which gives me the right angle. The legs are strong and the tripod offers great flexibility in use. Not only does it offer a solid phone mount, but it also features a standard tripod screw that can hold almost any camera. So full disclosure I use this for the artwork that is in my head Octobot it's an octopus that is a robot don't judge I feel me like you. judge again! I'll post a photo when I'm done so you can agree it's not as crazy as it sounds. Regardless, I needed something that could handle a lot of weight, stayed very balanced, was very flexible because I wanted the 3 "legs" of the tripod to be three octopus tentacles. Item arrived quickly which is normal these days when it comes from Revain stock. But for the competitive price I'm totally impressed! It is very well made, the nuts and bolts have inserts and don't screw directly into the plastic, the legs are very flexible and the rubber is very thick. I'm sure they can be bent and tilted thousands of times in any direction. Part of the structure is made of durable plastic, other parts are aluminum as it should be. The level function is very nice and accurate.
