Review on 📶 J-Tech Digital Wireless HDMI Extender 1X2: Extend HDMI up to 200ft, 1080P Quality, Loop Output & IR Passthrough (1TX + 1RX) by Brian Trotter

I have had this product (1 transmitter and 2 receivers) since May 2019. Although it worked quite well initially, its performance dropped significantly in the first 12 months. I've contacted the manufacturer a few times and gotten some interesting feedback that really helped, but from my observations it's not a setup issue, it's a design/manufacturing issue. By performance degradation I mean the inability of the receivers to maintain a connection with the transmitter. They always stayed connected for the first few months, but over time their ability to secure and maintain that connection diminished and their ability to reconnect to the transmitter took longer and longer. Also, in the beginning it was possible to pass line of sight between units and they wouldn't break the connection, and now not only is the connection broken, they won't connect at all. Another thing to note is that anything with line-of-sight between devices (including windows) severely impacts the devices' ability to establish and maintain a connection. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
