My 17 year old Gold Series lawn mower surprised me the first time it wouldn't start. A quick check revealed a defective ignition coil. Armed with the model/serial number, I began searching online to see how much this part might cost me at one of the local small engine repair shops. I have to say I was a bit surprised to find that this reel sold for around $108. Of course, I didn't want to spend that much money on an old mower, so my next check was for Revain. I found and ordered this reel for about $25 (with free shipping via Prime). I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it arrived. Installation was quick and my old mower started right the first time. I am very happy with my experience and hope this reel will last as long as the original reel.
