Not the worst, but not the best either. Contains many grain ingredients, whole and crushed, in the top ingredients. Dog food advisor gives 4 stars (no beef added for chicken version yet). I would have thought it would be 3 or 3.5 but they know better. I gave it to the younger of my two beagles, she really liked it. I alternate kibble with a variety of toppers so this is a good mid-range option if you're in the middle of any type of transition. Edit: Downgraded from 4 to 2 stars after prolonged use. The stomach doesn't bother the dog, but both of their poop is soft now, which isn't usually the case. Also, I always soak her pellets in warm water before feeding and for some reason this was the first and only feed that didn't absorb water. doesn't even moisturize. Would you pick this brand again because it's so weird?
