Review on Mobile air conditioner Electrolux EACM-13HR/N3, white by Petar Moysov ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best product, from those that I have viewed, I advise everyone!

It is clear that a wall-mounted split system is better, quieter and more powerful, but if the apartment is rented (like ours) or for some other reason does not allow you to install a split, then I think this is a good option not to die from the heat in summer. I’ll add: it’s already +25 outside, we have a sunny side, so at home the temperature fluctuates +27/29. The air conditioner knocks it down perfectly, if you turn it on to the maximum (+18), it quickly becomes chilly :) And a week ago it was about +10 on the street, and the heating was already turned off - the condo also came in handy, turned on for heating - warms up the room quickly. I will ate again in the summer of 2022. For this summer, the design was improved (with boxes and adhesive tape - as it was last year - there are two main problems: in summer it is far from always hot, but it is not convenient and long to remove the air conditioner to the side with such an attachment (and it gets in the way); strong wind is too weak, and we have a cat at home, so I would like a more reliable option). We bought a sheet of thin plywood, cut it to the size of the sash, made a hole for the pipe, secured it with wine corks))) so that it could not fall into the room. It turned out to be convenient, easy to remove - put, you can take out the pipe at night and cover the window, there are few gaps left, so the condo cools even faster. Cons - the room is a little darker - but theoretically, plywood can be painted or a blank can be made from white plastic panels, and for the first installation, you will have to fool around with cutting the sheet to fit the window, but it seems to me that it’s easier to spend a couple of hours on installation once, but then everything will be much easier. Maybe this information will help someone)

Pros
  • 1. Pretty quiet (it is clear that this is a subjective opinion, but we have a column fan blowing louder at maximum). 2. I don’t know how it will cope in the heat, I bought it in February, but tested it in the kitchen (bringing the pipe to the balcony and insulating the window so that it didn’t blow), it cooled noticeably in 20 minutes. It blows icy air, and not just cool, as is the case with powerful fans. 3. It warms well, but again, it will only make sense from mid-spring to autumn. The pipe must be led out the window (so that cold air blows outside, and not into the room), but in winter it is still too cold with an open window, even if everything is sealed. But even without the output of the pipe by a few degrees, the temperature in the room raises in 15-20 minutes, just an ordinary heater will do it faster and quieter. 4. Easy to ride if there are no thresholds. We don’t have it - so it gets from the kitchen to the room without problems, we plan to move it if its power is not enough for the whole odnushka. 5. Cute looks like a big penguin)) This is not important, but given its size and the fact that it is very noticeable in the room, it's good that its appearance is not annoying.
Cons
  • 1. He's big. It is clear that the site has sizes, but until you see it, it seems that there are not so many. It is necessary to figure out where to put it in the winter and whether there is a place in the room to place it by the window / balcony, and so that it does not lean against anything. 2. Price - you always want cheaper, but in general, when compared with analogues, it is quieter and more powerful than many on the market.
