I bought this cable on purpose because it was flat and stuck to the wall I was going to run it through. When I connected the end of the cable to my switch the clip broke, ok no big deal right? I'm a network engineer so I thought "hey I have hundreds of ends, I can just cut off the broken end and plug in a new RJ45 jack" ever seen! Wires resemble a single strand of fiberglass. Needless to say I wasted my money and time, this cable is beyond repair and now it's a total junk, I think I should have just left the regular category 6 cable I was using and not tried supposed to be chic. with flat cable.
