This was a huge improvement over my old snake that didn't have a drum. It was a lot easier to control the snake, and a lot easier to keep it from getting all over the floor while I was searching the sewers. The handle on the drum worked very well to turn the snake, and I was much more successful than in the past at turning the snake around the coils of the whistle. Easier to store when done. The price was very reasonable.
