Review on Acer Monitor FreeSync Premium ZeroFrame 27", 1920X1080, Wide Screen, Curved, ‎UM.HE3AA.P02 by Kip Wilkerson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great monitor, especially for the price!

Pros: Excellent monitor with high refresh rate and minimal ghosting at normal settings* (later). Very stable metal stand. Super accurate colors compared to my old TN panel. The curve looks amazing after a bit of tweaking. I can't go back to a flat monitor. It can be SUPER bright. I personally only keep mine at 20% but holy moth it can get light. The free sync is absolutely amazing, love it so much. Very easy to assemble and comes with a DisplayPort cable! (off) in overdrive in panel settings Sometimes too bright for my liking. Even at the minimum, it's fairly bright for nighttime. OTHER (not entirely the monitors fault) No Vesa mount. I didn't buy it because I expected it, but it would be nice considering a competitor has it. I need to run it at 120Hz. To clarify, if you have an additional 60Hz monitor you must have both displays at multiples of 60Hz or the faster one will stutter. When this monitor is running at 144Hz and a video is playing on my secondary device, I experience severe stuttering. Fixed with a custom setting of 120Hz, but it works great.
