Great but flawed. This lock is perfect for me in many ways. The length is ok and it is very compact. I'm impressed with the overall design. The problem is that the locking mechanism started to stick after being slightly wet once. I was very lucky to unlock it once and thought I might have to go to Home Depot to buy something to slice it open. I applied a lot of torque to the key on the last try and luckily the lock opened before the key broke. Then I soaked the locking mechanism in lube and as long as I keep it well lubed the mechanism sticks but doesn't stay closed. It's so unfortunate. The lock seems well thought out, but the sticky mechanism is a serious problem. I'm considering recommending it. I love him, but I'm really worried that one day he'll let me down. I would definitely prelubricate the locking mechanism when buying one.
