I was very impressed with this bag, although I'm not a big fan of bags in general. This one is so flat that it doesn't feel bulky when I'm carrying it over my shoulder. I customize the essentials with a few extras and still have plenty of room for anything I need at the last minute. There are secure pockets, but it's difficult to keep all the zipped and zipped compartments in place, so I had a few splashes when it leaned to one side. I have a charger, cables, phone, wallet, headphones and bag, personal items and some pens. There is still room for more. The gold accents and tassels on this handbag are very pretty and feminine! I often get compliments on that.
